Josefa died durring childbirth of our son Raphael.
I feel a hole where my heart once was.
I hate this child.

I have gone back home to Merry old England to visit my sister Audrey and my brother in law the Baron Reginald Raife Von Blackstone. My mother has taken ill and I do believe these may be her last few weeks with us.
Times are difficult. Thomas and David have come down with a sickness that he cannot seem to let go of. Josefa is worried sick and with her heavy with child, I fear that the worry will cause her to lose the unborn child.
Business is excellent, but that doesn't matter now. All that matters is my family.
Josefa's mother is staying with her at the moment while I am on coach to England. She is a grand woman, a bit worn with time, but very wise.

My neice Cathrine and nephews Percy and William have started their studies. Cathrine has taken a deep liking to singing while the boys enjoy reading and arithmatic. The joy I feel to be coming home is almost unspeakable.

I am of course Stephen Elliot Walker, Esquire, aged 38. The title of Esquire I have inheirated from my grandfather, as he was knighted and my father and myself are both eldest sons, Stephen Jr. will too inheirate this title when I am gone.

I decided that my opportunities in England were limited, even with my elevated status. I set sail for America in 1783. I saw the profits to be gained from the textile mills and quickly got involved.

Once in America I met my wife, American born from Massachusetts, Elizabeth Sarah Parker, aged 17 at time of marriage. We married on May 30th 1789. We now reside in Pennsylvania in the country side on land bought with my fortune from the textile mills.

We have twelve children: Stephen Jr. (aged 15), Roman (aged 14), Dreary (aged 13), Elizabeth (aged 10), Montgomery (aged 9), Charlotte (aged 7), Sophia (aged 7), Charles (aged 5), Humphry (aged 5), Anne (aged 3), Caroline (aged 2), and Milton (aged 8 months).

I enjoy riding, entertaining guests, hunting, and wrestling.

I am a very important man. I may be young, but I know a thing or two about life. I didn't enherit this wealth, like many have. I worked my way from the bottom. I knew in my life that i wouldn't settle for anything less than the best, and I haven't. I still love my homeland of England and will forever keep her in my heart even if I am here in Vienna. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself. That is the motto I live by.
